Midland Ice Caves

A winter experience 🙂

Mother Nature never ceases to surprise us!

This beautiful place is located 45 minutes away from Saint John, New Brunswick.

This cave is formed during wintertime and you can access walking for around 40 minutes through the woods. There are easy walking trails. We went up the hill along with friends, which always makes it more enjoyable.

We suggest wearing proper winter boots and comfortable clothes to go up the hill. When you reach the area where the cave is you can help yourself with the ropes or slide down by gravity 😅. The ice around the cave is very slippery therefore we suggest caution if you decide to climb into the cave.

We thought that it was nearly impossible to have a good time in the snow, but we were amazed by how much fun it can be and had a good time there! If you like adventure, a little bit of adrenaline and contact with nature in a different way, you will have a great time visiting this place!
